Marbella City Council announces major municipal service contracts

The Marbella City Council has launched a new tender for the supply of flowers and plants, with an estimated total value of approximately 3.4 million euros. The contract is divided into two main lots: one covering the urban center, Nueva Andalucía, and Las Chapas, and another for San Pedro Alcántara. The agreement is set for four years at 650,000 euros per year, with a possible one-year extension.

In a separate municipal action, the council has awarded a contract worth 250,800 euros for the maintenance of the seaside promenade's sand (albero). The contract was awarded to the local company MTE San Pedro S. L., which was the sole bidder. The service involves daily irrigation and pavement regulation using a water tanker to ensure the sand remains compact and does not blow away during windy conditions.
