Marbella City Council renews Aspandem partnership with €299,000 in funding

The Marbella City Council has renewed its partnership with Aspandem through the signing of two agreements totaling approximately 299,000 euros. These funds are intended to support the association's work and the care provided to 980 individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families.

Mayor Ángeles Muñoz and Aspandem President María José Morales signed the agreements, which aim to maintain the association's centers and support specific activities such as nursery and gardening practices. The funding is part of a multi-year collaboration strategy to address the increasing needs of social collectives. Local officials noted that contributions to such entities are expected to increase by 15 percent by 2027 to ensure service guarantees as the number of users grows.
