Marbella expands Los Naranjos Park by over 700 square meters
The Marbella City Council is expanding Los Naranjos Park in Nueva Andalucía by more than 700 square meters. Once completed, the total area of the park will exceed 1,900 square meters.
The project aims to transform the space from a primarily child-focused leisure area into a more dynamic recreational zone suitable for various ages. New infrastructure will include two mini-soccer goals, two mini-basketball hoops, and various games and circuits marked on the pavement.
Work is currently focused on the new perimeter sidewalk and the replacement of the existing fencing. Upcoming tasks include the installation of artificial grass and the replacement of 200 square meters of rubber flooring in play areas to improve safety and cushioning. The renovation also involves replacing benches and trash cans, renewing tree pits, and performing general cleaning and brush clearing in the surrounding area.
