Marbella’s prime property sales exceed €70 million in first half of 2026

Drumella, a specialist real‑estate consultancy, reported that completed transactions of prime and ultra‑prime residential properties in Marbella totaled over €70 million in the first six months of 2026, with an average price of €3.76 million per deal. The firm said the market is moving into a more measured, stable growth phase after a pandemic‑driven surge that saw annual increases of about 20 percent in high‑purchasing‑power areas. A new buyer profile is emerging, including international technology professionals attracted by the so‑called “Costa del Tech,” who value innovative, remote‑work‑friendly environments as much as the property itself.

The surge in luxury sales reflects broader investor interest in Marbella’s high‑end developments, such as the Maria by Missoni, Lamborghini residences and Karl Lagerfeld villas, and the city’s reputation for world‑class amenities, golf courses and lifestyle offerings. Industry observers see the market as a solid long‑term investment opportunity as demand remains robust across traditional source markets in northern Europe and emerging buyers worldwide.
