Marble raises €6.5 million to automate financial compliance with AI
French regtech startup Marble has raised €6.5 million in a Series A funding round to advance its artificial intelligence capabilities for anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention. The round was led by Smartfin, with participation from Adnexus, Passion Capital, 42Capital, and Hexa.
With this latest injection, Marble has raised a total of €9 million. The company plans to use the capital to automate compliance workflows, specifically targeting rule creation, alert screening, and suspicious case investigations. The goal is to assist analysts by providing pre-analyzed cases and generating suspicious activity reports (SAR/STR) with a single click, allowing human experts to focus on final decision-making.
Founded in 2023 by former Shine executives Arnaud Schwartz and Pascal Delange, Marble provides an open-source platform that can be deployed directly on a client's own servers. The company currently serves approximately 100 clients and intends to double its workforce by the end of the year to support its growth objectives.
