Marc Casadó undergoes surgery for clavicle fracture
Marc Casadó, the Spanish midfielder currently on loan from FC Barcelona to Deportivo de La Coruña, has undergone successful surgery to repair a fractured right clavicle. The injury occurred during a match against Real Betis when a fall following a collision with Pablo Fornals forced his substitution in the first half.
The surgical procedure was performed by traumatologist Rafael Arriaza at the Hospital HM Modelo de La Coruña. While the operation was successful, the club's medical staff has indicated that his recovery period will be at least two months.
This injury represents a significant setback for Casadó, who had recently joined the Galician side on loan and was beginning to establish himself in the starting lineup. His absence will require the technical staff to find immediate alternatives in the midfield for the upcoming period of the competition.
