Marc Cerrone to perform at Palavas-les-Flots arenas

Disco pioneer Marc Cerrone is scheduled to perform at the Palavas-les-Flots arenas this Thursday as part of the Côté Mer festival. He will appear alongside DJ Philippe Corti, with whom he has known for approximately thirty years.

Reflecting on a career spanning 50 years and over 30 million albums sold, the 74-year-old musician discussed his longevity and the intergenerational appeal of his music. Cerrone noted that his work, including the hit ‘Supernature’ featured during the 2024 Paris Olympics opening ceremony, continues to resonate with younger audiences through remixes and samples.

Cerrone also touched upon the enduring nature of disco, suggesting it has merely evolved into genres like House and electro. He remains active on the international stage, performing multiple concerts per week across locations including Australia and Mexico.
