Marc Granell, Saó, and AVL named finalists for Didín Puig Award

The third edition of the Didín Puig Award, part of the Ciutat d’Alzira Literary Prizes, has announced its three finalists: poet Marc Granell, the Saó magazine, and the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua (AVL).

The award recognizes cultural and social trajectories to strengthen the connection between Valencian culture and the public. Marc Granell is cited for his significant poetic contributions and commitment to the Valencian language. Saó magazine is recognized for its 50-year history as a reference for Valencian thought and culture, while the AVL is honored for its role in the promotion and normalization of the Valencian language.

Sponsored by Caixa Popular and organized by the Alzira City Council and Edicions Bromera, the winner will be determined by a popular vote. Citizens can cast their votes via a dedicated website from October 15 to November 3. The award ceremony will take place on November 6 at the Gran Teatre d’Alzira.
