Marc Marquez adapts to post‑surgery arm condition, remains third in MotoGP
Three months after right‑shoulder surgery, MotoGP champion Marc Marquez explained that his right arm is not the same as before, with some muscles improving while others lag. He said he will continue to adapt his riding style and aim to be at 100 % each weekend, despite the lingering pain that even affects his sleep.
Ducati team principal Davide Tardozzi praised Marquez’s effort, noting the rider’s contract has been extended to 2028 and that his determination is “superhuman”. Marquez, currently third in the world standings and 18 points behind leader Jorge Martín, has secured three wins in the last four races and spoke to the press at Silverstone about his recovery and upcoming challenges.
