Marc Marquez advises Isack Hadjar following wrist injury
Formula 1 driver Isack Hadjar has sought advice from MotoGP legend Marc Marquez following a wrist injury that forced him to withdraw from the Dutch Grand Prix. Hadjar, a Red Bull driver, was replaced by Liam Lawson at the event, while Yuki Tsunoda stepped in for Lawson at the sister team.
Marquez, a seven-time MotoGP World Champion, shared his perspective on the importance of recovery. He advised Hadjar on the difficulty of accepting the need to skip a race to avoid long-term damage. Marquez noted that while missing one race is manageable, returning too early and worsening an injury can be life-altering, citing his own experiences with injuries in Jerez.
There is hope that Hadjar will return to the RB22 for the Italian Grand Prix, though the team has not yet officially confirmed his availability.
