Marc Marquez clinches 100th MotoGP victory at Hungarian Grand Prix

Marc Marquez rode his Ducati to a dominant win at the Hungarian MotoGP, securing his 100th career victory across all classes. He broke away mid‑race, finishing over two and a half seconds ahead of Pedro Acosta, while Pecco Bagnaia completed the podium. A first‑lap crash involving Aprilia riders Jorge Martin, Marco Bezzecchi, Raul Fernandez, Fermin Aldeguer and Fabio Di Giannantonio reshuffled the leading group and eliminated Bezzecchi from title contention.

KTM’s Enea Bastianini struggled in qualifying, posting the 14th fastest time and starting from the fifth row. He launched off the line to gain four positions on the opening lap, overtook Bagnaia and Di Giannantonio, and ultimately crossed the line eighth, seven seconds behind the winner. The race highlighted both Marquez’s historic milestone and the continuing qualifying challenges for Bastianini and KTM.
