Analyst Carlo Pernat suggested that Marquez may be struggling with the current technical state of the Ducati machinery, noting that the rider previously compensated for performance gaps through high motivation.

In terms of financial standing, Marquez remains one of the highest-paid riders in the sport. Reports indicate his annual salary has reached approximately USD 17.5 million following a new two-year contract with Ducati. He leads a list of top earners that includes Fabio Quartararo, earning USD 14 million annually, and Francesco Bagnaia, who earns USD 7 million per year.
