Marc Marquez reveals physical struggles and loss of arm control

Marc Marquez has expressed significant concerns regarding his physical condition following the Silverstone Grand Prix. While Marquez initially attributed his seventh-place finish to technical issues and tire wear, behind-the-scenes footage from Ducati’s web series, ‘Inside Ducati Lenovo Team’, reveals a more troubling situation.

In the footage, Marquez admits to a lack of physical readiness and a loss of control over his right arm, stating, “I was at risk of crashing. I had no control over my right arm.” He noted that despite better tire performance on Sunday, he was unable to perform at his usual level.

Former chief mechanic Ramon Forcada has also raised alarms, suggesting Marquez’s behavior during the weekend was uncharacteristic of the eight-time world champion. Forcada questioned whether Marquez’s recovery is following a normal trajectory, noting that the rider appeared to have not regained his full potential despite the summer break and ongoing rehabilitation efforts.
