Marc Marquez Wins MotoGP Hungary 2026 as Jorge Martin Receives Penalty for Crash
At the Balaton Park circuit on 7 June 2026, Marc Marquez clinched his 100th career victory and Ducati’s 100th win in MotoGP, beating Pedro Acosta by 1.343 seconds. Marquez said, "Saya sangat bahagia. Harga yang harus dibayar memang mahal, tetapi saya senang bisa melakukan comeback lagi."
The race was marred by a first‑lap crash when Jorge Martin lost control, collided with Marco Bezzecchi and triggered a domino effect that also involved Fabio Di Giannantonio, Fermin Aldeguer and Raul Fernandez. The incident forced several riders out of the race. MotoGP stewards penalised Martin with a double long‑lap penalty for being the primary cause. Martin later posted an apology, acknowledging his responsibility for the incident.
