Marc Marquez struggling to regain peak form in MotoGP 2026

Former MotoGP rider Andrea Dovizioso has noted that Marc Marquez has not yet returned to his previous aggressive form during the 2026 season. Currently riding for the Ducati Lenovo Team, Marquez has secured only three victories by the 12th round of the season, struggling to maintain the consistent top-tier presence he displayed during his time with Honda.

Dovizioso suggests that Marquez's performance may be hindered by physical limitations resulting from past injuries, in addition to the specific characteristics of the Ducati motorcycle. Dovizioso advised rivals to capitalize on this period of difficulty before Marquez regains his peak level.
