He was joined by Tadej Pogačar, leader of the UAE Team Emirates and current Tour de France favorite, during a joint session captured in photos posted by the municipality’s Instagram account.
The presence of the two international athletes has heightened local enthusiasm as the Tour de France approaches. Organisers announced that a stage will cross Castelldefels’ beach on Sunday between 15:00 and 16:00, bringing the world’s top cyclists to the area and boosting activity in the town.
