Marc Márquez clinches 100th MotoGP victory at Hungarian Grand Prix

Marc Márquez secured his 100th career MotoGP win at the Hungarian Grand Prix in Balaton Park, also taking pole position and the Saturday sprint victory.

The race began with a first‑corner pile‑up that eliminated several riders, notably Jorge Martin, Marco Bezzecchi, Raul Fernandez, Fabio Di Giannantonio and Fermin Aldeguer. Martin was taken to medical care and later received a double long‑lap penalty for the next round in Brno.

Márquez, on a Ducati, maintained a steady pace, set the fastest lap in the closing stages and finished ahead of Pedro Acosta, who opted for softer rear tyres, and Francesco Bagnaia in third. The win moved Márquez up to fifth in the championship, narrowing the points gap and reopening the title fight.
