Marc Márquez extends Ducati Lenovo contract through 2028

Spanish MotoGP champion Marc Márquez, 33, has signed a new agreement to stay with the Ducati Lenovo Team until the end of 2028. The deal ensures he will continue wearing the red colours for two more seasons after securing his seventh world title in 2023.

Márquez, who moved from Honda to Ducati in 2024 and finished third in his first season with the Italian marque, said the team gave him the time and confidence needed to decide his future. He praised the partnership as built on trust and highlighted his ambition to achieve even greater goals while remaining with the squad that he considers the most competitive project.

The extension follows his successful 2023 campaign, in which he won the MotoGP championship, and signals stability for both rider and factory team ahead of upcoming seasons.
