After a series of crashes involving other riders, Márquez described the circuit’s gravel traps as dangerous, noting the stepped design that can turn a slide into a serious accident. He managed his pace conservatively, used a soft rear tyre for short bursts of speed, and relied on ice therapy to treat lingering inflammation in his right arm.

Márquez also expressed frustration that the track’s safety features need improvement, urging organisers to fix the gravel trap layout for future events.
