Marc Márquez returns to MotoGP after seventh surgery

Spanish MotoGP champion Marc Márquez has resumed racing following a series of injuries that required a seventh operation to treat a radial nerve compression in his right arm. After the surgery, he made his first appearance at the Mugello circuit in Italy, riding cautiously to assess his condition.

Márquez described the early season as a period of intense stress and uncertainty, noting that the nerve issue caused his arm to disconnect without warning while riding. He later secured a victory at the Sachsenring race in Germany, marking his third win in four rounds and sparking renewed hopes of contesting the world title despite earlier doubts.

The rider emphasized the need for mental rest after the grueling recovery, stating that the psychological strain had been as demanding as the physical rehabilitation.
