Marc Márquez targets Aragon GP victory amid Aprilia competition

Marc Márquez has expressed confidence in his ability to compete for victory at the Aragon Grand Prix, despite recent challenges from Aprilia. The Ducati rider noted that while Aprilia has shown significant performance gains this season, particularly on fast circuits, he believes his riding style is well-suited to the mix of corners at MotorLand Aragon.

Former MotoGP rider Chris Vermeulen has offered a different perspective on Márquez's current form. Vermeulen suggested that Márquez may be managing his media narrative to mitigate pressure, noting that the rider's physical recovery from shoulder surgery has impacted his season. Vermeulen argued that the Ducati remains a highly competitive machine, citing the performance of other Ducati riders as evidence that the current gap in the championship is more related to Márquez's physical condition than the motorcycle's capabilities.
