Marc Oliver Kempf renews contract with Como 1907 until 2029

Como 1907 has officially announced that German defender Marc Oliver Kempf has renewed his contract with the club until 2029. Since joining in the summer of 2024, Kempf has made 69 appearances across Serie A and the Coppa Italia, scoring four goals and providing one assist.

Coach Cesc Fàbregas praised Kempf as a “key figure” for the defense and a leader in the locker room, noting his contribution to the club’s historic qualification for the UEFA Champions League in May 2026. Kempf expressed his pride in being part of the team and his desire to continue improving through hard work.

In related transfer news, Como 1907 also confirmed the temporary transfer of striker Álvaro Morata to Leganés for the remainder of the 2026/27 season, which includes an option to buy.
