Romanian reality TV shows launch new seasons and announce contestants

Several Romanian reality television programs are launching new seasons or featuring significant developments.

Antena 1 has announced the first three female contestants for the tenth season of ‘Insula Iubirii’, titled ‘Maxim’. The participants include visual artist Cristina Belu (Frankie), medical assistant Andreea Homescu, and HR manager Sandra Vintilă. The season is scheduled to begin on September 4.

Mireasa: Regatul Inimii has also commenced its 14th season. The initial group of male contestants includes Adrian, a 25-year-old athletics coach; Radu, a 26-year-old swimming instructor; Valentin, a 26-year-old geodesy engineer; and Emanuel, a 29-year-old freight dispatcher.

On Kanal D, the show ‘Casa iubirii’ featured an emotional moment where contestant Andra reacted with tears after being shown footage of Ahmed and Veronica from a previous season. Additionally, the lifestyle program ‘Follow us!’, hosted by Teo Trandafir and Ilinca Vandici, is set to return for a new season on August 24.
