Marcel Hernández’s Nine Gastro Bar Targeted in Shooting Attack in Heredia

A shooting attack was carried out on Nine Gastro Bar, a restaurant owned by Cuban football striker Marcel Hernández, in the San Joaquín district of Heredia on Wednesday morning. According to the Organismo de Investigación Judicial (OIJ), two individuals on a motorcycle opened fire on the establishment, causing damage to the outer parts of the venue but leaving no patrons or staff injured.

The OIJ received the report at 3:10 a.m. and confirmed that the case remains under investigation. Hernández, who has not yet commented on the incident, opened the bar a year ago after his football career, adding a business venture to his profile. Local authorities are pursuing leads, and the investigation continues.
