Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? begins 3-million-euro special

RTL has launched its eleventh “3-Million-Euro-Woche” special of the long-running quiz show “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?”. The special features contestants from different generations competing over three consecutive evenings for a chance to reach the grand finale on Thursday.

Among the participants is Marcel Seiderer, a 37-year-old police officer from Bavaria, who is playing to secure the budget for his upcoming wedding to his fiancée, Franziska. Seiderer, who has previously appeared on the show as a lifeline, expressed his determination to win rather than playing it safe.

The first night of the special featured 18-year-old contestants. One participant, Maya Upmann, provided notable entertainment for host Günther Jauch, despite moments of tension during the questioning rounds.
