Marcele Seippel learns Vietnamese to integrate in Vietnam

Marcele Seippel, the wife of Brazilian-born footballer Nguyễn Xuân Son, has gained social media attention for her efforts to learn the Vietnamese language. Although the family has resided in Vietnam for six years, Marcele has recently begun sharing clips of her online 1:1 language lessons.

Living in Ninh Bình to support Xuân Son's career with Thép Xanh Nam Định FC, the family has integrated into local culture through food and daily life. Marcele has also involved her two sons in the learning process, using tools to practice pronunciation of common vocabulary such as fruits and household objects. Both children are currently living and studying in Vietnam and have begun to speak basic Vietnamese.
