Marcella Amadio Elected Provincial President of Italy's Fratelli d'Italia in Livorno
Marcella Amadio, a 61‑year‑old veteran of Italy's right‑wing Fratelli d'Italia, was elected provincial president for the party's Livorno federation at a congress held on 26 July 2026. The delegates voted by acclamation, confirming her as the new provincial leader after a period of party commissariat overseen by Senator Marco Lisei.
Senior party figures attended the event, including Senator Lisei, regional deputy and coordinator Francesco Michelotti, regional councilor Diego Petrucci, and European Parliament member Francesco Torselli. They highlighted the election as a sign of unity and a step toward reorganising the party ahead of the upcoming national election campaign.
Amadio pledged to strengthen the party’s organisational structure and drive the campaign in Livorno province, stressing the need to support Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s government and prevent any alternative coalition from taking power.
