Marcello Duarte Mathias releases new diary volume ‘Intervalo’

Marcello Duarte Mathias has released the seventh volume of his diary series, titled ‘Intervalo’, which covers the years 2024 and 2025. The work is accompanied by a collection of articles and essays titled ‘A Memória dos Outros III’.

The author’s writing is noted for its sharp lucidity and cultural sensitivity, particularly regarding literary matters. The text explores the nature of the diarist as someone constantly returning to a starting point, maintaining a pact of self-trust. The work also touches upon the importance of skepticism as a means to approach subjects without ideological or moral preconceptions, providing a sense of freedom against rigid or dogmatic values.
