Marcellus Wiley arrested on domestic battery charge as wife alleges ongoing abuse

Former NFL defensive end and sports analyst Marcellus Wiley was arrested on July 4, 2024 in Orange County, Florida and booked on a domestic‑battery charge. The arrest followed a police call from his wife, former “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star Annemarie Wiley, who sought a restraining order after an argument in an Orlando hotel room. In court filings she described a “continuing and escalating pattern of physical violence, sexual abuse, verbal and emotional abuse, financial control, and intimidation, much of which our children have witnessed.” She also alleged that Wiley raped her in 2012 while she was intoxicated and that he had threatened to kill her. The filing cites multiple incidents of physical assault, including a food‑tray thrown at her head, a bottle of soda smashed into her while pregnant, and a broken thumb in 2025, all witnessed by their children. Wiley was held without bond, later released on a $1,000 cash bond, and has denied all accusations, stating that “the truth will prevail.” The domestic‑violence case adds to earlier allegations of sexual assault from several women that Wiley has also denied.
