Marcellus Wiley Surrenders Gun as Divorce Parenting Plan Takes Shape

Ex‑NFL player Marcellus Wiley turned over his Glock 9mm handgun to the Los Angeles Police Department on July 27, 2024, stating he owns no other firearms or ammunition. The surrender follows a temporary restraining order issued by his estranged wife, Annemarie Wiley, which remains in effect.

The couple has also agreed to a temporary parenting plan for their three children—Marcellus Jr., 10; Ariya, 7; and Alivia, 6—that runs from August 1 to September 2. Under the plan, Wiley may have the children on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. and on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. He must pick the children up from camp on weekdays, stay in his car for exchanges at the marital home on Saturdays, remain within Los Angeles County, and stay at least 100 yards from Annemarie. The restraining order also governs all handoffs.

The divorce was filed after an altercation at a Florida hotel in early July that led to Wiley’s arrest. Annemarie, a former *Real Housewives of Beverly Hills* alum, alleges sexual, physical, and emotional abuse, which Wiley denies.
