Marcelo Brozović faces free agency, Beşiktaş emerges as frontrunner

Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozović will become a free agent when his contract with Saudi club Al‑Nassr expires on 30 June. Negotiations for an extension fell through, opening the door for a return to European football.

Turkish side Beşiktaş is reported to be the most determined club to sign him, while Olympiakos, Juventus and Panathinaikos have also shown interest. The player has indicated a priority to move back to Europe.

Brozović is married to Silvija, a biology graduate, and the couple have two children, daughter Aurora (born 2017) and son Rafael (born 2019).
