Marcelo Conde seeks annulment of Alexandre de Moraes' decisions in STF

Businessman Marcelo Conde has requested that Edson Fachin, President of the Brazilian Supreme Federal Court (STF), annul all decisions made by Justice Alexandre de Moraes regarding an investigation into the leaking of confidential tax data.

Conde is a suspect in the investigation, which involves the alleged payment of R$ 4,500 for the income tax information of Viviane Barci de Moraes, the wife of Justice Moraes. Conde denies responsibility for the leak.

The defense argues that Moraes should be disqualified from presiding over the case because the investigation involves sensitive fiscal information belonging to his spouse. This argument follows a recent incident where Moraes declared himself impeded from analyzing a separate legal matter that directly involved Viviane Barci.
