Marcelo, former BBB26 participant, reveals depression diagnosis

Marcelo, a physician and former participant of the reality show BBB26, has publicly shared his diagnosis of depression. In a video released on social media, he discussed the difficulty of recognizing his own symptoms despite his medical background.

He noted that while he could identify signs of depression in his patients, he initially attributed his own fatigue, lack of energy, and desire to isolate to other causes. He emphasized that being a medical professional does not provide immunity to illness and highlighted the importance of healthcare workers seeking help when needed.

Following his recovery through professional support, Marcelo expressed interest in expanding his medical expertise. While he currently practices pediatrics, he is considering pursuing a postgraduate degree in psychiatry to provide more comprehensive care.
