Marcelo Moretti initiates lawsuit against San Lorenzo for $270,000

Former San Lorenzo president Marcelo Moretti has launched an executive lawsuit against the club to claim the repayment of loans with interest. The claim amounts to approximately $270,000, stemming from a loan Moretti reportedly provided during his previous administration.

The legal action is being pursued as an executive proceeding rather than an ordinary one, a method intended to accelerate the collection process by utilizing documentation that validates the debt. While the club has not yet received official notification, the litigation arrives during a period of economic difficulty for the institution.

Moretti stated that if he is successful in the lawsuit, he intends to donate the recovered funds to San Lorenzo’s youth divisions.
