Marcha para Jesus draws thousands in Salvador, Limeira, Paranaguá and other cities
On 8 August, the Marcha para Jesus organization expects thousands of Christians to gather in Salvador, Brazil, beginning at Largo de Ondina and proceeding along Avenida Oceânica to the Farol da Barra. The free public march features music, prayer and inter‑denominational fellowship.
In Paranaguá, Brazil, the Associação dos Ministros Evangélicos de Paranaguá will launch its edition on 29 August at 14:00 from Praça da Bíblia, walking to Praça de Eventos with prayers for the city’s families, authorities and workers. Organisers anticipate a large turnout.
Limeira, Brazil, hosted its seventh Marcha para Jesus, drawing about 10 000 participants and marking the event’s continued growth in the region.
In Coro, Venezuela, the foundation announced a march for 1 August that will involve more than 6 000 Christians. The route will pass through Plaza San Antonio and several city plazas, with designated prayer stations and assistance points for earthquake‑affected residents.
A similar march took to the streets of São Gonçalo, Brazil, adding to the spectrum of large‑scale religious gatherings across Brazil and Venezuela in August.
