Italy launches initiatives to combat gender violence and employment gaps
Italy is addressing systemic gender issues through new institutional partnerships and social mobilization. In Teramo, a pact titled ‘Donne al centro’ has been established between the Province, health authorities, and professional orders to reduce the gender employment gap, which currently stands at 17-18 percent—nearly double the EU average.
