Marche Region approves 340 million euro public works plan

The Marche Region Council has approved the 2026-2028 three-year public works plan, which includes 66 interventions with a total programmed value of nearly 340 million euros.

The plan features significant investments for the Fermo area, totaling over 75 million euros. Key projects include two strategic road connections expected to go to tender by the end of 2027: a 24 million euro link between Lungotenna and the A14 motorway junction in Porto Sant’Elpidio, and a 47 million euro link between the SS77 Val di Chienti and Sant’Elpidio a Mare.

Andrea Putzu, head of the Fratelli d'Italia group in the Regional Council, noted that these infrastructures are intended to improve daily mobility, accessibility, and regional road network functionality for citizens and businesses.
