Marche Region launches historical residences and parks network

The Marche Region has launched the Network of Historical Residences and Parks (Rete delle Dimore e dei Parchi Storici delle Marche) to promote and protect the region's architectural and landscape heritage. Following Regional Law no. 30 of November 23, 2021, the initiative aims to create a recognizable and accessible system of historical villas, castles, gardens, and architectural complexes.

Coordinated by Fondazione Marche Cultura, the network seeks to connect owners, managers, institutions, and local communities to enhance cultural tourism and regional identity. The accreditation of sites is an ongoing, progressive process conducted through regional procedures. Regional President Francesco Acquaroli stated that the network is intended to recognize and value a widespread heritage that reflects the history and social transformations of the Marche communities.
