Marcianise Carabinieri crackdown on street prostitution results in 11 fines

Carabinieri from the Marcianise station, assisted by the Nucleo Operativo and Radiomobile of the Marcianise company and personnel from the Gricignano di Aversa station, carried out an extraordinary night‑time operation to enforce the municipal ordinance of 13 July aimed at curbing street prostitution and improving urban decor.

The checks identified eleven individuals violating the ordinance – six women engaged in prostitution and five clients – and imposed administrative fines totalling about €3,000. The relevant authorities have been notified for further action, and the Carabinieri said they will continue regular checks in the most affected areas of Marcianise.
