Marcianise celebrates Festa del Santissimo Crocifisso

The town of Marcianise is celebrating the Festa del Santissimo Crocifisso, a major religious and civil event held from September 12 to 18. The festivities include various cultural and sporting activities.

The 16th edition of the ‘Corri Marcianise’ footrace saw approximately one thousand athletes from 70 different clubs participate. Atletica Marcianise took the top spot in the club rankings. In the individual 10-kilometer race, Said Boulfaf of Tifata Runners Caserta secured first place with a time of 33’29”, followed by Salvatore Russo and Jayed Momhamed.

Musical celebrations will continue on September 16 at Piazza Umberto I, featuring a concert by the musical duo I Desideri as part of the civil program for the festival.
