Marcin Naruszczka disqualified in MMA rematch against Samuel Kristofic

Polish MMA veteran Marcin Naruszczka was disqualified during his return to professional competition at the RFA 32 event in Bratislava. The 43-year-old fighter faced Samuel ‘Pirat’ Kristofic in a highly anticipated rematch of their 2021 encounter.

During the bout, Naruszczka delivered an illegal knee to the head of Kristofic while the Slovak fighter was in a grounded position. The strike left Kristofic unable to continue, prompting the referee to disqualify Naruszczka. Following the illegal blow, Kristofic required medical attention and was eventually carried out of the arena on a stretcher.

This marks the second time Kristofic has defeated Naruszczka, with the first victory occurring via unanimous decision in 2021. The disqualification ended Naruszczka’s return to the cage following a three-year hiatus.
