Marcin Patrzałek arrives in Shillong for guitar tour

Polish guitarist, composer, and producer Marcin Patrzałek has arrived in Shillong for the Meghalaya leg of his ‘Marcin, Art of Guitar Tour 2026’. The performance is scheduled for August 12 at the Lariti Performing Centre in Mawkasiang.

Patrzałek, known for a percussive instrumental style that fuses fingerstyle guitar with electronic and orchestral production, expressed fascination with the natural beauty of the region. He noted that the scenery felt “exotic” and like a “different world.”

As part of the visit, Patrzałek will engage with the local music ecosystem through workshops and jam sessions with students and emerging artists under the Chief Minister’s Meghalaya Grassroots Music Program (CM-MGMP). The concert will also feature local opening acts, including Chegim Durama, Leo Boys, and Larger Than 90, to promote regional talent.
