Marcio Garcia to return to Globo with new television project

Presenter and actor Marcio Garcia is set to return to Globo. The announcement was made during the network's Upfront event in São Paulo, which presents upcoming programming and commercial projects to the market.

Garcia is expected to host a live auditorium program, likely airing on weekends, with a projected return in 2027. While the specific format of the show remains a secret, it is expected to incorporate elements from various previous attractions hosted by the presenter. This marks his return to the network following the end of his previous contract in 2024.

Garcia previously held a long tenure at Globo, hosting programs such as ‘Video Show’ and ‘The Voice Kids’ before moving to other networks. He expressed his enthusiasm for the new project, noting a desire to return to the stage and interact directly with a live audience.
