Marco Auddino opens Pegasus Bread Co. in Sunbury, Ohio

Marco Auddino, the son of Michele and Rosa Auddino who run Auddino’s Italian Bakery, is launching his own bakery‑restaurant called Pegasus Bread Co. The new storefront will be located at 490 Commerce Drive in Sunbury, Ohio, with a grand opening slated for Sept. 19.

Pegasus Bread Co. will sell a range of artisan breads—including sub buns, ciabatta, and rotating specials such as Everything Bagel Ciabatta, Calabrian‑pepper ciabatta, and even sardine‑topped loaves on request. The venue will also serve in‑house pizza, gelato, wings, salads and other items. Auddino, who ran the production room at his family bakery from 1997 to 2006, lived in Florida where he learned to make gelato, and returned to Ohio in 2014 before starting this venture.
