Marco Baroni Nears Settlement with Torino as Hellas Verona Plans Appointment
Marco Baroni, still under a contract with Torino until June 2027 that costs the club about €2.4 million gross per season, is in talks to reach a mutual termination that would free him to join Hellas Verona. The Verona side, aiming for a quick return to Serie A, has reportedly agreed on a multi‑year project with the former Torino coach and is awaiting a final agreement on the buyout so the move can be completed.
Separately, Virtus Francavilla is reportedly scouting former Reggina coach Bruno Trocin as a replacement for Roberto Taurino, who is set to leave the club. Trocin, who previously led Virtus Francavilla in 2018 and 2021 and came close to promotion in Serie C, is being considered to restart his tenure at the club after his recent dismissal from Reggina.
