Marco Bezzecchi claims third place at Silverstone Grand Prix

Marco Bezzecchi secured a third-place finish at the British Grand Prix at Silverstone, marking a significant comeback following recent injuries. Riding for Aprilia, Bezzecchi achieved two podium finishes during the weekend, having previously secured a third-place finish in the Sprint race.

Bezzecchi's performance follows a difficult period involving a fractured clavicle and knee damage that required two surgeries within a week. Despite significant physical exhaustion and pain in his left shoulder, he managed to defend his position against Alex Marquez during the final laps of the 20-lap Grand Prix.

Reflecting on the achievement, Bezzecchi stated, “I’m exhausted, I can barely hold on, but it was worth it. Yesterday was exciting, but today was even more intense. I wanted this so badly, I couldn’t give up.” He credited the hard work of the Aprilia team for his resurgence in the MotoGP title fight.
