Marco Bezzecchi tests at Misano ahead of Silverstone MotoGP comeback

MotoGP rider Marco Bezzecchi, an Aprilia Racing rider, suffered a left clavicle fracture and a knee wound after a heavy crash during qualifying at the German Grand Prix on the Sachsenring. He underwent surgery on his shoulder in Italy and received routine treatment on the knee.

Three weeks after the operation, Bezzecchi completed a four‑run test on an Aprilia RSV4 at the Misano World Circuit to rebuild confidence and assess his physical condition. The rehabilitation programme is proceeding as planned. His next step is a medical examination by the MotoGP medical team at the Silverstone circuit before the British Grand Prix scheduled for 7‑9 August. Final participation depends on clearance from the medical director.

If approved, Bezzecchi could return to the MotoGP grid at the British round, marking his first competitive appearance since the injury.
