Marco Bezzecchi's clavicle fracture at German GP prompts Marc Márquez to dismiss karma claims
During qualifying for the German MotoGP Grand Prix, Italian rider Marco Bezzecchi suffered a heavy high‑side crash that left him with a fractured clavicle. He underwent successful surgery and is expected to return at the Silverstone round, after having dropped from the championship lead to fourth place.
Ducati champion Marc Márquez was questioned by the media about rumours that the crash was a case of "karma" for Bezzecchi. Márquez responded firmly, stating “Le karma, ça n’existe pas” and adding that he had removed the word from his vocabulary since 2015. He wished Bezzecchi a prompt recovery and called for safety improvements to gravel traps.
