Marco Bonilla leads polls for Chihuahua governor race
National polls show PAN candidate Marco Bonilla as the front‑runner in the upcoming Chihuahua gubernatorial election. An Emotegia survey gave Bonilla 50.61% support, beating Morena contender Cruz Pérez Cuéllar (44.47%) and also leading over Andrea Chávez (43.58%). The Mexico Elige poll reinforced this trend, with Bonilla capturing 80% of PAN‑leaning voters and 41.6% overall against Pérez Cuéllar’s 25.5%.
A separate CE Research poll cited by a Juárez outlet placed Cruz Pérez Cuéllar at 50.5% of the pre‑electoral preferences, with Andrea Chávez at 30.8%. The same article also reported a controversy over alleged favoritism involving a funeral service provider and public aid, but the primary focus remained on the shifting poll dynamics ahead of the state election.
