Marco Bonilla seeks political alliances for 2027 in Chihuahua

Marco Bonilla, the mayor of Chihuahua City, has confirmed ongoing discussions with various political leaders to outline potential agreements for the 2027 electoral process. Bonilla recently met with PRI state president Alex Domínguez and Deputy Francisco Sánchez to maintain dialogue.

Bonilla expressed interest in establishing communication with Movimiento Ciudadano (MC), suggesting that if conditions are met, the parties could analyze joint participation through common candidacies or alliances. He stated his goal is to build a “great front, a great block in the state of Chihuahua” composed of political forces that share common objectives for the entity.
